WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY - COMPUTING AND GENERAL TEACHING BUILDING

1992 - 1994

The form of this building directly reflects the diverse functions contained within it: a 300 seat lecture theatre, computing teaching rooms, offices and workshop, staff training facility, conference rooms and an early childhood development centre located under the tiered lecture theatre to provide child-scale spaces.

The building skeleton was cladded in pre-finished insulated steel sandwich panels to eliminate  time-consuming and messy masonry trades from the project.

Services provided: Brief development, design, tender documentation, contract administration during construction.
