2010 - 2014
The Indo Chinese Elderly Hostel (ICEH) project involved extension of an existing low care facility to provide for both high care and dementia care residents.
A new two storey building at the rear of the site, linked to the existing facility, was designed to take into account the adjacent residential development onto which it backs.
The new building accommodates a total of 52 en-suite bedrooms evenly divided between high care and dementia care. Also included in the building is a new main kitchen, laundry, and staff lunch and training room.
Toward the end of construction the office was engaged to design and document the new main entrance/reception pavilion at the front of the existing low care facility.
Services provided: Brief development, feasibility studies, design, development application, contract documetation, and construction phase services.
